Humble Bundle, the popular game bundle seller, has announced a new bundle featuring some classic tabletop board games in mobile app format. The "Mobile Board Games" Bundle offers tabletop gamers the opportunity to donate money to either EFF, Child's Play, or a third charity of their choice (via the PayPal Giving Fund) in exchange for DRM-free mobile board games.

It should be noted that this Bundle is exclusively for people who have Android devices, and that some games may have minimum system requirements - for details on what is needed for each game, check out Humble Bundle's system requirement page.

What games do your donations get you? For one dollar, you get the following two titles:

  • Carcassonne, designed by Klaus-Jürgen Wrede and digitally published by Exozet.
  • Scotland Yard, designed by Manfred Burggraf and digitally published by Ravensburger Digital.
For $3 or more, you nab yourself these three additional board games:
  • Splendor, designed by Marc André and digitally published by Days of Wonder.
  • Catan, designed by Klaus Teuber and digitally published by USM.
  • THE aMAZEing Labyrinth (also known as Labyrinth) designed by Max Kobbert and digitally published by Ravensburger Digital.
  • Further as-of-yet unannounced titles.
And finally, if you give $5 or more, you get all the previous tiers mobile board games as well as these three games:
  • Ticket to Ride, designed by Alan R. Moon and digitally published by Days of Wonder.
  • San Juan, designed by Andreas Seyfarth and digitally published by Ravensburger Digital.
  • Galaxy Trucker, designed by Vlaada Chvatil and digitally published by Czech Games Edition.
The Mobile Board Games Bundle will be running until November 21, 2016.

Quick Take

Pretty good board game choices for this bundle, although I would have liked to see Catan and Ticket to Ride at lower levels than the ones they're at now, as both are fairly entry-level board game titles. I am interested to see what other titles will be featured in the $3 tier, but there's a good mix of titles people are familiar with, as well as some classic games people should enjoy.
