If you're keen on battling some terrifying Xenomorphs, you're in some luck - the Humble Alien Day Sale is here and it's got some great deals on games featuring the classic sci-fi horror monsters!

The heavy hitter in this particular sale is the latest and greatest game in the Alien franchise. Alien: Isolation (Our Review) is $9.99, 75% off its retail price of $39.99. Space is dangerous enough as it is, but adding murderous robots and a deadly xenomorph into the mix makes things all the more harrowing for Amanda Ripley. Use your wits to avoid dangerous situations and craft equipment to bypass locked doors and secured computer systems. Of course, if you already own it, you might be missing some of the DLC. You can pick up the Alien: Isolation Season Pass for $4.99 (75% off) to get all of the DLC in one shot if you already own the game. If you don't own the game at all, the Alien: Isolation Collection is the best deal at 75% off for $12.49 - it includes the base game and all of it's DLC and it's a better choice than purchasing the game & season pass separately.

If you're only missing one or two bits of DLC from the game, you can purchase them individually. There are two types of DLC for Alien: Isolation: Story DLC and add-on challenge maps.  Crew Expendable has the crew of the original movie reuniting aboard the Nostromo to contend with a deadly Xenomorph after the first incident; you can get it for $0.99 (75% off). Last Survivor is $0.99 (75% off) and it further continues the adventures of Ellen Ripley as you try to complete one last mission while aboard the Nostromo after everyone else has died.

Alien: Isolation is chock-full of heart-racing terror.

Safe Haven ($1.99, 75% off) introduces Salvage Mode, a new gameplay mode where players must venture out, gather supplies, and make it back alive to a safe room. Lost Contact ($1.99, 75% off) expands Salvage Mode with a second map as a new challenge for players. Corporate Lockdown is 75% off at $1.99 and features three new maps for Survival Mode including the Corporate Penthouse and the Medlabs. The Trigger contains three new Survival Mode maps where you must strategically place explosives, and Trauma has you playing as Chief Medical Officer Lingard as he scrambles to destroy any traces of his research in three more Survival Mode maps; both of these last two DLCs are discounted 75% to $1.99. Do keep in mind that the Season Pass is only $4.99 - if you want to buy more than three of these, it would be a much better deal.

Outside of Alien: Isolation, the Humble Alien Day Sale also has Aliens Vs. Predator Collection for $5.99, 75% off its normal price. This game allows you to choose from Predators, Marines, and Xenomorphs in hectic three-way online combat. This includes the 2010 game Aliens Vs. Predator alongside the Bughunt Map Pack and Swarm Map Pack DLCs.

Finally, the Aliens: Colonial Marines Collection is 75% off at $7.49. This game has you playing a campaign as a colonial marine in events featuring characters from the first two movies of the film franchise. Unfortunately, the development of the game had quite a storied history and it isn't everything that fans hoped it would be. Even so, it can be a good bit of fun for the price, and you certainly won't be kicking yourself for pre-ordering two copies of the game at full retail like I did way back when it released. This package includes the following DLC: Bug Hunt DLC, Collector's Edition Pack, Limited Edition pack, Movie Map Pack, Reconnaissance DLC, Sawed-off Double Barrel Shotgun, SHARP Sticks, and Stasis Interrupted.
