It seems that the leak that popped up earlier today is true: Rastakhan's Rumble is the next expansion for Hearthstone and it's set to arrive on December 4, 2018.

Rastakhan's Rumble is a troll-centered expansion to Blizzard's free-to-play collectible card game Hearthstone. A shiny new cinematic trailer should give you a better feel for its theme:

Of course, a new Hearthstone expansion means new cards. Four of them have been revealed on the game's official website so far. Additional cards will be revealed in the future.

We'll also be getting new creatures and keywords. The Overkill keyword activates an effect when you do damage that exceeds the defending minion's health. Spirits are minions that get the Stealth effect for the first turn they're in play. Finally, Loa are brand-new legendary minions who will let you bring a bit of heft to your deck.

A new single-player experience called Rumble Run is being included with this expansion. You'll pick from one of three randomly-selected Troll Champions, each of which represents one of the game's classes. Both you and your opponent will begin the game with a Shrine in play, a special card that grants a bonus to your Loa. Win your battle, and you'll advance further along in the Rumble Run with some neat new spell and minion cards added to your deck.

Two bundles are available for pre-purchase. The Rastakhan's Rumble Challenge Bundle will cost you $19.99 or your regional equivalent and includes the expansion's card back and 17 card packs. If you're a more dedicated fan, you can pick up the Rastakhan's Rumble Bundle for $49.99 to get the King Rastakhan Shaman alternate hero, the expansion's card back, and 50 card packs. This latest expansion will launch worldwide on December 4, 2018.

What do you think of Rastakhan's Rumble? Do you like the idea of the new single-player Rumble Run mode? What kind of cards do you hope to see in the game? Let us know in the comments below!
