A Hat In Time will be making its way to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 according to the Cute-As-Heck Accolades Trailer on the developer's YouTube channel.

The days of the 3D platformer are not quite dead with the recent release of A Hat In Time, a cutesy new venture into the genre released in early October of this year. Players take on the role of Hat Kid, a kid who wears a hat. She's on the lookout for the Time Pieces, a source of fuel for her ship that has been scattered all over a nearby planet. It's up to you to explore the planet, help the residents, and collect up the Time Pieces so you can continue your journey home. Take a look at the Cute-As-Heck Accolades Trailer to get an idea of what the gameplay is like:

Aside from acting as a source of fuel, the Time Pieces distort time and can be dangerous in the hands of those who would abuse it. Unfortunately for Hat Kid, a gang of space mafiosos (no, really - space mobsters!) are the ones behind busting up her ship and she must journey across the planet to recover them. Along the way you collect various bits & bobs, meet tons of interesting people, and put on quite a few different hats (alongside the occasional mask).

If you don't yet own A Hat In Time, you can get it on Steam or the Humble Store for $29.99 or your regional equivalent. Do be sure to check out our review of the game to see what we thought of it! A Hat In Time will be available on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on Wednesday, December 6, 2017.
