The recent announcement of The Master Chief Collection is being brought to PC, as well as the addition of Halo Reach, was met with a very positive reaction from the series' fans. As a way of showing their appreciation, many fans ordered pizza to be sent to 343 Industries headquarters in Kirkland, Washington. The pizza was initially met with great thanks from the developers before it became an avalanche of cheese and pepperoni and they eventually had to ask their fans to stop so that food wouldn't be going to waste.
To show the fans their gratitude 343 Industries announced that they would be giving each player of Halo 5 a free 'last slice' skin. The Halo 5 pizza skin is available online for free right now and covers the player's guns with all the cheese and pepperoni that they could possibly want on their deadly combat weapons. The free skin was announced over the official Halo twitter account:

Jump online today and pick up your complimentary Last Slice skin!The announcement was met with another outpouring of love from fans on twitter. Many reacted with joy at seeing the free skin being given out in response to the outpouring of pizza, with many asking that the skin is included in every game in the Master Chief Collection as well as in every future Halo title that is ever to be released.
