Halo 2 fans have gotten a taste of what is to come for the Halo 2 Anniversary Edition, part of the Halo: Master Chief Collection, as a video showing off remastered cut scenes was posted to 343 and Xbox's official YouTube channels. The cut scenes, while still a work in progress, show what we can expect from the collection being released later on this year and it looks beautiful.

343 has stepped up from just adding a HD layer on top of the current models by getting Blur Studios to completely redo all of the scenes from the ground up. You can check out the trailer below:

On top of that 343 has also announced that popular map "Zanzibar" will be joining the previously announced "Coagulation" and "Ascension" to get the Anniversary re-imagining treatment. No screens or content has been shown so far for "Zanzibar" but 343 will surely keep it faithful as they have shown they are planning on being with "Ascension".

One final bit of news for the Master Chief Collection is a teaser trailer for Halo: Nightfall, the new Halo TV Series produced by Ridley Scott, was released. This trailer discusses the idea of an element found that kills humans, the series seems to be about the team sent onto a Halo ring to seek out the deposit of this element so that it can be destroyed.
