Halflife3

It's no secret that there is a large debate over the rumored production of Half-Life 3. Ever since the release of Half-Life 2: Episode 2, back in October of 2007, the Half-Life fan base has been begging for the next full game.

Every once in a while, an insider, (say, maybe a former Valve employee), might let a few comments slip about the game production that sends the Half-Life fan base into a tizzy! And rightly so, seeing that the last full game was released almost 10 years ago! About time don't you guys think? All the gamers really want is a concrete message saying those three magic words: Half-life 3 confirmed. (Three words? Four words? Whatever!)

Recently, in an interview with Twitch.tv, a former Valve employee and Counter-Strike creator, Minh Le, or as some of you may know him, "Gooseman", was asked about the fabled Half-Life 3. As with most of the answers surrounding this question, his reply was vague but that didn't stop people from jumping up and saying the game was confirmed for being in the works.

"I don't think I can talk about that to be honest, but I think it's kind of public knowledge that people know that it's being worked on." Yeah Le? You understand you just made some gamers' dream come true with those words, right?

"I guess I could say that I did see something that looked kinda like in the Half-Life universe, and I mean it wouldn't surprise anyone if I said that they're doing it, they're working on it, yeah. So to go out on a limb, I'd say I did see some concept art for Half-Life 3." (Click here to watch the full interview)

It might not surprise anyone that Half-Life 3 is being worked on but the fan base is going crazy over this rumored concept art! What do you all think? Can we finally say without a doubt Half-Life 3 confirmed? If so, when would you all speculate the release? Do you think we could see it as early at 2014? Maybe 2015. My ultimate question is, "What's taking so long?"
