PC fighting games aficionados, rejoice. Another chapter of the Guilty Gear franchise is about to land on our machines next month. Arc System Works announced that Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator, the latest title in the long-running Guilty Gear series, will have a PC release soon. The game will be released on Steam on December 14th.

Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator is the updated sequel of Guilty Gear Xrd: Sign. The game was initially released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in the summer of 2016 and featured several improvements to the original title. More polished animations, character balancing and 6 whole new characters (among other things) were added in Revelator that spiked the attention of the fighting games fans out there. All of that will be included in the PC version of the title but just like the PlayStation 4 version, some content (including 3 of the 6 new characters) will be locked behind DLCs.

Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator created quite a fan base for itself since its release. The distinguishable anime art style and soundtrack are surely two of the reasons. It is also known for having many useful modes for training getting used to playing with its characters. It features a step by step tutorial to help beginners of the franchise and/or the genre to have a grasp of the game's mechanics, a "mission mode" that will help players to get acquainted with a character's style of play and a combo mode to allow more advanced players to refine their technique. Of course, there's a Story Mode as well, with 3D cinematics rendered in the in-game engine.

Guilty Gear Xrd:Revelation will arrive December 14th on Steam in two versions. The base game will be available for $49.99 and will have a 10% launch discount. A version that includes all the available DLCs, called the "One Dawn Bundle", will also be available for $64.99.
