The first episode of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series will be available for download starting on April 18, 2017. The first episode, titled Tangled Up in Blue, will be available on that Tuesday for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, iOS, and Android-based devices.

A recent news post on the Telltale website also revealed that a trailer for the game will come out on March 30.

Tangled Up in Blue, the first of five total episodes for the game, will be available for download on the devices listed above for $4.99 USD.

If you plan on getting the physical season pass disc of Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series, then that will be available starting May 2 in North America and May 5 everywhere else around the world. If this series is anything like past Telltale games, then the retail disc of Guardians of the Galaxy will already have the first episode downloaded on the disc, but the rest of the episodes will need to be downloaded online as they are released.

Telltale’s news release also revealed that Thanos will be in the game, potentially in the first episode.

Guardians of the Galaxy The Telltale Series Thanos 2

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series was first revealed late last year during the 2016 Game Awards. While the teaser trailer that was announced then doesn’t give us a lot of information about the game, the new trailer dropping this Thursday could give us more insight into the upcoming game’s story and characters.

Earlier this month, Telltale also revealed the main voice actors that will make up the core cast of the game series. Most notably, Nolan North (who voices Nathan Drake in the Uncharted Series) will be doing the voice of Rocket Raccoon in the Guardians of the Galaxy series. You can read the full story on the voice actors here.

Just because I write about video games doesn't mean I'm very good at them. Unless it's Smash Bros. I'll wreck you in Smash Bros. I am also currently obsessed with Overwatch, so I'll wreck you in that too with Mercy.
