GTA Online: Bikers, the upcoming motorcycle-centric DLC for Grand Theft Auto Online, is going to release on October 4th according to a news post on the Rockstar Newswire .

This new DLC for Grand Theft Auto Online was announced on September 19, 2016. The initial announcement by Rockstar Games stated that the update will include new motorcycle models, player-owned MC Clubhouses, and as new biker-themed clothing for players. New weapons, styles, tattoos, and other features will also be deploying with the update. Players will be able to form Motorcycle Clubs with up to 8 players participating in gameplay similar to the CEO work currently available in the game.

Today’s update showcases a new motorcycle model in the screenshots as well as the announcement of melee combat on motorcycles. Players will be assigned ranks within the Motorcycle club starting as Prospect and they will level up as they earn respect from the Club President. No specifics on this mechanic have been released. That said, it would possibly be similar to the Reputation levelling system that already exists in Grand Theft Auto Online.

Specific details on the intricacies of  how Motorcycle Clubs will work has not yet been released. The initial announcement states that players will “fight to expand their foothold alongside black-collar CEOs and Organizations” suggesting that at least part of the gameplay will take place in the open world as opposed to instanced missions.

GTA Online: Bikers will release as a free update for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 4th. In the meantime, take a look at the newly released images showcasing a new motorcycle model and melee motorcycle combat!
