graveyard keeper - breaking dead update

Medieval cemetery management game Graveyard Keeper has released its first major content update called Breaking Dead according to a news post on the game's Steam Community page.

Graveyard Keeper has players managing a cemetery in a medieval town in an admittedly unrealistic depiction of the duties of an undertaker. Sure, you could certainly bury everybody properly, but why not chuck a body or two down the river and save some coin on building a coffin?

However you decide to run things, there are plenty of opportunities to make a few extra coins in the game. These opportunities have been further expanded in the Breaking Dead expansion which is now available for free to all owners of the game. Check out its trailer to see some of these neat new features in action:

Breaking Dead lets you take your disrespect for the dead to new heights with the ability to raise them as zombies via a brand-new resurrection table - just in time for Halloween. These unfortunate souls can be immediately put to work to automate your resource gathering and sale of goods. Don't worry if they're not quite up to snuff - you'll be able to upgrade your zombies with new body parts to improve their abilities.

A couple of quick bugfix patches have already come out for the new Breaking Dead content in Graveyard Keeper, shoring up a handful of problems with the new content. Be sure to read the patch notes (and those of the latest hotfix) for all the fine details. If you don't yet own Graveyard Keeper, you can get it at a 25% discount on Steam for their Halloween Sale or at the regular price on the Humble Store and GOG. Xbox One players can get it for that console via the Microsoft Store.
