Gran Turismo Sport will be launching on October 17, 2017, for the PlayStation 4 according to a post on the PlayStation Blog.

The latest game in the Gran Turismo franchise suffered from some delays; a 2013 interview with Famitsu detailed by Polygon stated that the game was originally aiming to release sometime in 2014 or 2015. Notably, this will be the first time that Porsche cars will be in a Gran Turismo game following the loss of EA's license with the German-based car manufacturer.
