Gran Turismo Sport will be launching on October 17, 2017, for the PlayStation 4 according to a post on the PlayStation Blog.

The latest game in the Gran Turismo franchise suffered from some delays; a 2013 interview with Famitsu detailed by Polygon stated that the game was originally aiming to release sometime in 2014 or 2015. Notably, this will be the first time that Porsche cars will be in a Gran Turismo game following the loss of EA’s license with the German-based car manufacturer.

Gamers looking to secure their copy of Gran Turismo Sport have a number of pre-order goodies on the table for both digital and physical versions of the game. Pre-ordering customers will receive a car 3-pack which includes the Ford Mustang Gr.B Rally Car, Toyota FT-1 Vision Gran Turismo (Gr.3), and Peugeot 908 HDi FAP – Team Peugeot Total. For those of you out to get a physical copy, the Limited Edition of the game (retailing for $69.99 or your regional equivalent) will feature a GT Sport Starter Pack with 8 cars, $1 million in-game credit, a Livery Sticker Pack, 30 GT Sport Themed Avatars, a Chrome Racing Helmet for your driving profile, and a Limited Steel Book & Packaging. The Digital Deluxe Edition offers a 12 car GT

Of course, digital customers won’t be left out in the cold. The Digital Deluxe Edition offers a 12 car GT Sport Starter Pack, $2 Million in-game Credit, 60 GT Sport Themed Avatars, and the Chrome Racing Helmet (For Driver Profile) for $79.99 or your regional equivalent.

Additional details about the game’s cars and tracks will be released in the coming months. Gran Turismo Sport will release for the PlayStation 4 on October 17, 2017.
