Good Catch Games has announced that Black & White Bushido will be coming to the Nintendo Switch as reported by Nintendo Life.
Black & White Bushido features two teams of two ninjas fighting against one another in a black and white landscape. A somewhat unique feature of the title is the notion that each team could potentially hide within their own color, allowing for players to take the stealth option. Of course, it’s also entirely possible to fight out in the open, brawler-style. Take a look at the super-cheesy trailer that Good Catch Games put out for the announcement:
The game originally released for the PC in 2015 and made its way to the PlayStation 4 a couple of years later. Our review of the PlayStation 4 version praised the game’s unique strengths but lamented the relatively low playerbase on that platform. Population problems seem to plague the Steam version as well with a 30-day average of 0.1 people playing the game.
Black & White Bushido may indeed be more ideally-suited for couch co-op, and the Nintendo Switch is probably one of (if not the) best platforms for that kind of social gaming these days. There are not yet any details on when exactly the game will be coming out or what it’s going to cost. Good Catch Games has provided a contact form that you can fill out so you’ll be notified right away when a more concrete date is set for the game.
If you’re not keen on waiting for Black & White Bushido to make its way to the Nintendo Switch, you can also pick it up for the PlayStation 4 at the PlayStation Store or for the PC via Steam or via the Humble Store for $12.99 or your regional equivalent. The Humble Store also offers up a 4-pack at a discount. Bear in mind that both platforms likely have low (or rather, practically nonexistent) player populations, so make your purchase with couch co-op in mind.
