From today Bethesda Softworks are now releasing some of their classic games DRM free for the first time on GOG.com. Today marks the release of 11 new titles from the Bethesda development team including many big name releases. Some of the titles which will be available on GOG.com from today include huge titles such as The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Quake and Doom.

To celebrate these new releases GOG.com is currently running 2 promotions. Firstly, those who purchase any Bethesda Softworks title will receive The Elder Scrolls: Arena and The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall completely free of charge. Secondly, until next Wednesday (September 2nd) GOG.com has created a variety of Bethesda Softworks bundles where you can purchase groups of their classic games for up to 66% off. Consumers purchasing these bundles will also be entitled to their 2 free Elder Scrolls titles, though Arena and Daggerfall are also available free to download from the elder scrolls website.

The bundles are as follows:

The Elder Scrolls series: one of the most popular franchises of all time is now DRM-free and updated for modern gaming. Purchase all three games to receive a 33% discount, available for $21.30.
- The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Game of the Year Edition
- The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard
- The Elder Scrolls: Battlespire

First person shooter id Software titles also DRM-free. Purchase all three games to receive a 33% discount at $17.31
- Quake includes Mission Pack 1 and Mission Pack 2
- The Ultimate DOOM
- DOOM II + Master Levels for DOOM II + Final DOOM

Another of gaming's most popular and enduring series, The Fallout series also returns after a lengthy absence DRM-free. Purchase all three games to receive a huge 66% discount at $9.99.
- Fallout
- Fallout 2
- Fallout Tactics

All purchases within a bundle need to be purchased simultaneously in order to receive a discount. Games purchased separately will not have the discount refunded.

The discounts here are really decent and this is a good opportunity to pick up these classics if you haven't already.
