Well, another week is upon us, and you know what that means: it's time for the GOG weekly sale.

This week, the good folks over at GOG are offering up to 90% off some "cool cult classics". More than 40 games can be had as part of the sale, with all kinds of genres available to cater for a wide variety of tastes. Let's have a quick look at some of the stuff you can grab as part of the Cult Classics sale on GOG this week.

Disclosure: GOG works with TechRaptor for affiliate partnership, and TechRaptor earns a small commission off purchases made from links in this article. In addition, GOG provides a monthly giveaway to our Pack Hunter members.

First up is interactive FMV puzzler The 7th Guest. Originally released back in 1993, this horror-tinged adventure sees players navigating the mansion of toymaker Henry Stauff, solving puzzles and trying to recover their lost memories. GOG describes this one as "a chilling, challenging, and fascinating journey", as well as "a pioneer of the FMV adventure genre". If you're interested in owning a little slice of FMV gaming history, The 7th Guest can be yours for $1.19, 80% off its standard retail price of $5.99. If you get on well with this one, its sequel The 11th Hour is also part of the sale and can be had for the same asking price as its predecessor.

If The 7th Guest sounds a little too contemplative for your tastes, not to worry. Second billing in this sale goes to Battlezone 98 Redux, an interesting hybrid of the FPS and RTS genres. GOG says this one gives "a fascinating sci-fi spin to the events surrounding the "space race" of the 1960s", so if you're after something a little more mastermindy (followed by some pew-pew), then Battlezone 98 Redux is up for grabs at $6.99, 67% off the asking price of $21.19.

As ever, there's loads of stuff we didn't mention up for grabs in the Cult Classics sale. How about some Aliens versus Predator Classic 2000? Perhaps a spot of Empire Earth? Maybe some Rogue Trooper? We strongly suggest you head on over to GOG right now to see what you can snap up. The Cult Classics sale is up until Monday, May 28th at 10 pm UTC, when the ritual is complete and GOG vanishes into the shadows to await the next weekly sale (just kidding, GOG ain't going anywhere).
