It's that time of the week again, or "the weekend", and wouldn't you know it, there's a GOG sale to help us celebrate.

Disclosure: GOG works with TechRaptor for affiliate partnership, and TechRaptor earns a small commission off purchases made from links in this article. In addition, GOG provides a monthly giveaway to our Pack Hunter members

The folks over at GOG are helping feted developer-slash-publisher Interplay to celebrate their 35th anniversary with an Interplay Weekend Sale. Almost everything in the sale is 66% off (certain Star Trek titles are around 30% off). Interplay was originally founded back in 1983 by industry luminary Brian Fargo, along with Troy Worrell, Jay Patel and Rebecca Heineman (the latter perhaps best known for programming the SNES port of Another World). The company is responsible for some of the best-known classics of PC gaming, many of which can be had for mere peanuts in the GOG sale.

Kicking things off is Descent, one of the progenitors of the modern FPS. GOG describes Descent as an"amazing experience of 360° fluid 3D motion that is still unmatched", so if you're up for becoming a Material Defender and destroying some viruses, then Descent and its sequels can all be had for $3.39 each (66% off the usual price of $9.99). Also up for grabs is overlooked and underrated point-and-click adventure Toonstruck - "as hilarious, inventive and downright fun as the point & click classics". Back to the Future actor Christopher Lloyd is sucked into his own cartoon creation, and must assist its world's inhabitants in defeating the evil Count Nefarious (Tim Curry). If any of this sounds like your jam, Toonstruck can be had for $3.39, 66% off its usual $9.99 price tag.

There are loads more games up for sale which we haven't even mentioned (Earthworm Jim, anyone? Perhaps a spot of underrated shooter/strategy hybrid Giants: Citizen Kabuto?), so head on over to GOG to fill your boots before the sale ends. It's all over on Monday, May 7th, at 10pm UTC.
