With every new January comes the blitzkrieg of new year’s resolutions. If your resolution was to play more games in 2018, then look no further than GOG to help get the year started on the right note. Until 6 p.m. ET on January 15, more than 100 games will see discounts up to 90 percent on the website as part of its New Year’s Resolutions Sale.

Every day, a rotating selection of games will be featured on GOG’s homepage, each fitting a different resolution theme. For example, on day four of the sale, the theme is “See the World,” and the selection of games in some way fit the mold.

Notable sales include discounts on The Witcher franchise, with a 60 percent price drop on The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt Game of the Year (which includes all the DLC). You can read our review hereDivinity: Original Sin II, a high-ranking cRPG that released in the tail end of 2017, gets a modest discount at only 10 percent off. Its prequel, however, is sitting at a nice 66 percent discount, and it's still a worthy game to pick up. There’s no shortage of RPGs on sale on the website, including high-profile games like Pillars of Eternity (review), Tyranny (review), and Torchlight II.

If you’re not an RPG fan, don't worry about it. There are plenty of other games out there with great discounts. Fans of choice-based games that focus on story can find many Telltale games for cheap, like The Wolf Among Us (review), Tales from the Borderlands (review), and The Walking Dead: Season 1, all at 75 percent off. Action game lovers can look forward to solid discounts on Absolver (review) and Ruiner, both of which are seeing a 33 percent discount.

Games bought through GOG also come DRM-free, unlike most other storefronts. If you missed out on the Steam winter sale last month, it’s a good time to check out GOG and see what it has on its digital shelves.
