The GOG Spring Sale 2019 is here and it's bringing back some great deals on DRM-free games! GOG is a digital games distributor that focuses on two things: making older games work on modern systems and using absolutely no DRM whatsoever. It's the first day of Spring, so what better way to get the season started than by picking up some games to play?

New this year is the addition of support for cloud saves on some DOSBOX titles including X-COMDungeon Keeper Gold, and many others. Like many such sales, the GOG Spring Sale 2019 will also have flash deals throughout the week—make sure to check back every day to see what the hottest deals are!

As always, we've highlighted some of our favorite picks for the GOG Spring Sale 2019. Read on to find out what they are!

Bioshock Remastered ($6.59, 67% off) is a gussied-up version of the original Bioshock game with brand-new enhanced graphics and all sorts of other bells and whistles. Unfortunately, Bioshock Infinite isn't available on GOG, but you can still get the sequel Bioshock 2 Remastered ($6.59, 67% off) for a similar discount. Both of these games include the Classic version as part of your purchase.

Dungeon Keeper Gold ($1.49, 75% off) is a classic in the genre of dungeon building. Take on the role of a mystical evil overlord as you try to build an army and conquer the kingdoms of man! This is a piece of gaming history and an absolute steal at $1.49.

Heroes of Might and Magic 3: Complete ($2.49, 75% off) is perhaps the best games in the Heroes of Might and Magic series. You can command an army filled with legendary heroes and battle your foes with an interesting turn-based combat system. This version is regarded by some as superior to other versions of the game, in part due to having all the expansions.

Moonlighter ($11.99, 40% off) is a game after my own heart. Set up a shop, sell goods, and then dive into dungeons in search of more loot! This is a tycoon-style game with a definitive end (... and then a New Game +) and is definitely worth checking out.

SWAT 4: Gold Edition ($4.99, 50% off) is something I purchased as soon as I saw it on sale. There have been a few tactical first-person shooters over the years, but SWAT 4 was unique in that it required you to follow police procedure. If you try to run and gun in this game, you'll probably fail the mission (and get yourself killed, to boot). It's a fun experience if you like a serious take on police gameplay!

Theme Hospital ($1.49, 75% off) is the O.G. wacky hospital game. Patients will stroll into your clinic with all sorts of strange diseases and you'll have to heal them with equally-weird cures. Keep your hospital in the black while trying to keep the patients moving!

Finally, X-COM: UFO Defense($1.49, 75% off) is the last game we're highlighting for the GOG Spring Sale 2019. This, too, was the forebear of a franchise that is still having games released today. X-COM is most certainly not for the faint of heart: only those in search of a serious challenge need apply and you may be hearing more about this game soon here on TechRaptor.

That's it for our highlighted games! There are many more titles on sale, so you should go ahead and check out the GOG Spring Sale 2019 right now—you're sure to find some fantastic deals! The GOG Spring Sale 2019 will end on March 28, 2019.
