Bonjour mes amis! It's time for another GOG sale. This week, GOG is celebrating French development ingenuity. The Baguette Days sale is knocking up to 90% off classics from la République. Let us venture into this beautiful land and find some games to play!

First, some classics which have aged like fine French wine. There are some excellent Ubisoft games up for grabs in GOG's Baguette Days sale. Anno 1404: Gold Edition (75% off), Beyond Good and Evil (66% off) and Rayman 2: The Great Escape (66% off) are all veritable works of art. Elsewhere, other developers are bringing the heat. The whole Syberia series - yep, that's the first, second, and third games - (80% off) should give point-and-click fans a run for their money. Eric Chahi's wonderful Another World: 20th Anniversary Edition (75% off) represents the apex of the cinematic platformer genre, as does Paul Cuisset's Flashback (75% off).

Lest you think it's all old-school gems, think again. Take Dontnod's interesting Vampyr (60% off) for a spin and enjoy some RPG action. TechRaptor's Robert Grosso found enough to like here, and we hope you do as well. Dead Cells (20% off) remains a peerless roguelike Metroidvania, and buying it from GOG this week will net you an exclusive character skin. Excellent boss rush bullet hell game Furi (55% off) should give difficulty fans something to think about. You could also check out survival RPG Dead in Vinland (50% off). France is the place to be for new gaming experiences, it seems.

Let's round off the sale with some curios. Quantic Dream's one-two adventure punch Omikron: The Nomad Soul and Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecyare both 75% off. Indie mouse adventure Ghost of a Tale (33% off) struggles to maintain momentum, but it's a gorgeous game while it lasts. If you like sedate detective stories, you should check out Agatha Christie - The ABC Murders (75% off). There's also Fear Effect: Sedna (90% off) for a modern take on a classic franchise.

As you can see, there's plenty to get stuck into this week on GOG. In a time when France is looking to poach British talent, the number of excellent games coming from that beautiful land is only going to increase. The GOG Baguette Days sale ends on July 15th at 10 pm UTC.
