GOG Connect is one of the more interesting ideas that GOG has created in their bid to be the primary competitor to Steam in the PC marketplace. GOG Connect works by connecting your Steam Account to your GOG account, and then those games that are in the current promotion which you own on Steam are added to your GOG account as well. It runs for a limited time, with this set of games being available for the next 6 days.

There had been some concerns over the summer that the pilot project wouldn't be continued after it hadn't been seen since its launch in June. GOG representatives quickly explained that they were evaluating and iterating on it and that GOG Connect would be coming back. Now, with seventeen new titles, it's back in a big way!

Here is a list of the titles:

  • AI War: Fleet Command
  • The Last Federation
  • Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
  • Shadow Warrior (2013)
  • Hotline Miami
  • OlliOlli
  • Ziggurat
  • Dex
  • Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut
  • Cossacks Anthology
  • Teslagrad
  • The Masterplan
  • Hot Tin Roof: The Cat That Wore a Fedora
  • Two Worlds Epic Edition
  • X Rebirth
  • X: Gold
  • Anno 1404: Gold Edition

That, however, wasn't enough news for GOG today! As the fall season ramps up, they decided to launch a new Back to School Sale starting today with over 300 deals up to 90% off, including some great bundles. Today we have collection sales of Nordic Games, Interplay, Versus Evil, and even Devolver Digital as far as publishers go. As far as games we have a few bundles and hot ones here to spot. The links below are affiliated, so we may earn a small amount if you choose to buy through them.

There's a lot more on sale and more will be added in the coming days.

What games are you picking up on sale? What do you think of the GOG Connect program? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
