GOG Connect has added five new titles to their service during their Winter Sale. These additions will help Steam users further expand what they have in their libraries of DRM-free games on CD Projekt's digital distribution platform.
If you haven't used it before, GOG Connect is a pretty straightforward idea. You'll be able to get free copies of DRM-free games on GOG provided that you already own them on Steam and have your profile set to public. This is only for a limited time, so you'll have to act fast! Here are the titles that are now available on GOG Connect:
Convoy (Our Review) is a mash-up of sci-fi tropes and Mad Max. Your ship has crash-landed on a planet and you're unfortunately stuck on the ground. You'll need to roll along the roads and battle it out with hostile aliens in order to get the parts you need to escape.
Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek is a point-and-click adventure game with hidden objects. You have a mystery before you and only your sharp wits can solve it! Can you uncover the mysteries of Maple Creek?
Hard West (Our Review) is what happens when you mash up The Dresden Files with XCOM and set it in the Wild West. Lead a squad of cowboys to victory, either through precision gunfire or the occasional dip into cannibalism. This one's got occultic cowboys fighting it out in XCOM-style gameplay—what's not to love?
Knights of Pen and Paper +1 Edition has a few improvements over the standard edition of the game. On its surface, it's nothing more than a simple turn-based RPG. What makes Knights of Pen and Paper +1 Edition interesting is the way it's presented. You're playing as a group of people enjoying a tabletop RPG, effectively making you playing a game within a game. It's a pretty neat little title!
Finally, Syberia is an adventure game that has you taking on the role of the lawyer Kate Walker. Travel across Europe as you seek to complete a seemingly simple task, only to uncover many strange mysteries along the way.
Beyond GOG Connect titles, GOG's winter sale has over 2000 games on sale right now.
