CD Projekt subsidiary GOG.com is celebrating 10 years as an online storefront, with plenty of DRM-free goodness and more for fans to enjoy.
Gamers can head to GOG.com right now and vote for a free anniversary gift. From now until October 4th, you can vote on either Shadow Warrior 2, SUPERHOT, or Firewatch as a free game to GOG’s members. The voting won’t last long, so make sure you make your choice soon.
For some extra DRM-free goodness, the Raven Software-developed FPS series Soldier of Fortune is now available only on GOG.com. Soldier of Fortune: Platinum Edition, Soldier of Fortune: Payback, and Soldier of Fortune 2: Double Helix – Gold Edition can all be purchased at $9.99 a piece. 1999’s action-adventure game Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine also released today, and Stellaris is now DRM-free.
GOG released three Anniversary Collections, each containing three to four games for a heavy discount. Here’s what you can find, according to a GOG press release:
- The Timeless Essentials is all about the legends: Theme Hospital, Dungeon Keeper 2, System Shock 2, and Another World all for 5 USD.
- The Art of Aging Gracefully collection features the unmissable Owlboy, Homeworld Remastered and Dragon Age: Origins at 10 USD.
- Last but far from least it’s The Modern Classics collection, set at 25 USD it will get you Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Battle Chasers: Nightwar, and Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun.
Along with these deals and a haul of new games, there is an anniversary sale going on. Chances are, a game you’ve been wanting is on sale right now for a discounted price (up to an 80 percent discount), so take a look around, and maybe burn a hole in your wallet – all in the name of good games at a good price.
GOG.com is a decade old, so the website is celebrating this landmark with an upcoming website redesign. Along with new, pretty visuals, expect information on games to be more apparent and accessible, as well as an improved review system.
