Recently, Asmodee Digital announced that Gloomhaven has received its first major patch on Steam's Early Access, along with a publisher sale that lasts from September 26 10 AM PST to September 30 at 10 AM PST.

Because we love to play, craft and publish these kind of games, we aim to get more and more people, partners and players alike onboard.”
This is the first major content patch that Asmodee has released for Gloomhaven's Early Access. This includes a 10% off sale for Gloomhaven, which is included with the rest of the Asmodee Digital sale.
Included with the update is the Tinkerer, the fifth mercenary in the game. The update includes all of level 1 and 3 of his X cards. There are also 10 cards to unlock while leveling up. The Tinkerer is a support mercenary who is an expert in crafting gadgets and elixirs. He has buffs and debuffs, along with good mobility and decent damage.

There is also a tutorial added to the game, which will allow players to understand its complex mechanics. The tutorial teaches players about-turn structure, card abilities, movement, damage, and target priority. The tutorial will also teach players about the "strategic depth" of the game, along with the opportunities that strategic depth provides players.
There is also a new party selection and save system UI to improve the overall experience, as well as a newly implemented battle log so that players can review the actions they have made.
Included in the sale is Gloomhaven, (-10% off), an early access digital adaption of a tactical-RPG board game where players control a squad of two to four mercenaries and explore dungeons, Scythe: Digital Edition, (-60% off), which is set in an alternative 1920's Europe. Its expansion is also included in the sale, Invaders from Afar (-30% off), along with Terraforming Mars (-60% off), which has players competing to improve Mars by melting the ice, creating oceans, planting oxygen-producing flora, and introducing animals both big and small to the red planet.
