The Humble Dystopian Bundle is the latest Humble Bundle offering. It offers a variety of games set in dark and dire worlds that range from post-apocalyptic, cyberpunk, surveillance, and more.

The bundle includes a maximum of eight games or a minimum of four games, depending on how much you pay. Here's what you can get:

Pay What You Want:

  • Tokyo 42An isometric shooter with a ton of style.
  • Distrust - A chilly strategy game inspired by John Carpenter's The Thing.
  • Beholder - A neat surveillance game that has you controlling an insidious Landlord who must spy on their tenants in nefarious ways.
  • Orwell: Keeping an Eye On You - This is about as 1984 as you'd expect. Snoop and survey on residents in this stylish surveillance game.

Pay More Than Average (Plus All Of The Above):

  • Orwell: Ignorance is Strength - The second Orwell game. More of the same and launched this year.
  • 60 Seconds! - A light-hearted take on a post-apocalyptic world.
  • Rain WorldA quality puzzle-platformer with a distinct style.

Pay $15 Or More (Plus All Of The Above):

  • ObserverDark and grim horror game set in a creepy cyberpunk apartment building. Features Blader Runner's Rutger Hauer.
All games are available on Steam or DRM-free, apart from Observer, which is only available on Steam.

It's a solid collection of games. Observer is an excellent and effective horror game and was a highlight of 2017. There are some other interesting-looking games in the bundle, with the Orwell series and Beholder providing a chilling look at more 1984 style dystopian worlds.

Quick Take

Observer is a great pick that more people should play. The Orwell games are cool-looking games that I've meant to check out. I'm not too familiar with the rest, but all have a distinct style and look interesting enough.
