Are you a bad enough dude to score a free video game? That’s the question Ubisoft is asking, and they’re offering up Trails of the Blood Dragon as the answer.
Starting July 22nd, a demo for Trials of the Blood Dragon will go up on Uplay. A demo is already a pretty nice deal, but Ubisoft is making it sweeter by offering a free copy of the game to anyone who completes the demo with 15 or fewer mistakes. Of course, they have yet to announce just how difficult the demo will be, but if you’re confident in your Trials skills then this may be an option for you. At the current time, there is no word if the demo or the ability to earn the game for free will show up on the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.
Trials of the Blood Dragon was announced and simultaneously released during Ubisoft’s 2016 E3 press conference. It sits in a strange spot in that it’s both a sequel to Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon and the next entry in the Trials series. The game follows Rex Power Colt’s children, Roxanne, and Slayter, as they participate in Vietnam War 4 and must travel around the world to defeat the communist. This includes taking up missions in Vietnam, Miami, Tokyo, and even in space. The game will still play like other entries in the Trials series, and see you performing platforming using a motorcycle. It does attempt to change things up from time to time, as new sidescrolling shooting levels and jetpack levels also make appearances. The game also features the same neon-loving art style and synth-heavy music that made Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon so memorable.
Trails of the Blood Dragon is available right now on Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One for $14.99
