The Humble DRM-Freedom Sale is here and is offering up 60 fantastic games with no DRM at great discounts! Let's take a look at some of the more interesting titles on offer.

Banished ($6.79, 66% off) is a city builder, though the city is a bit more ancient that SimCity fans might be used to. A bunch of villagers have been kicked out into the wilderness and must survive on their own outside of the protection of civilization. It's up to you to establish a settlement as villagers live, grow old, and give birth to the next generation. You can build whatever you like (provided you have the resources), but manage your town carefully - disaster is only a heartbeat away in the harsh environment of the wild.

Cook, Serve, Delicious! is a game in the Humble DRM-Freedom Sale that is way tougher than it looks (and a boatload of fun, to boot).

Cook, Serve, Delicious! ($1.99, 80% off) is a personal favorite of mine. You're put in charge of a restaurant and it's entirely up to you to create the menu and serve customers. Get their orders just right in this hectic, fast-paced game and you'll be swimming in 5-star reviews and a jar full of tips. I have a lot of fun playing this game, but my heart can only take it at 10 minutes at a time because it's so intense!

Curious Expedition ($9.74, 35% off) has you taking command of a band of explorers in the 19th century who are dead set at exploring the unexplored. What mysteries will you find in the untamed wilds? Explore temples, avoid traps, and fight off wild beasts as you try to make it there and back again with everyone alive. This game includes the DLC The Artic Expanse which adds a boatload of stuff to the game like new biomes, characters, and more.

Evoland ($3.39, 66% off) is a classic-style RPG with a twist - the game's visual style evolves through various generations of gaming as you play through the game. Start off with simple 2D sprite graphics and progress all the way up to early PlayStation-era graphics as you make your way through in this game packed chock full of humor and references to classics of the genre. If this sounds like fun, you might also want to check out the sequel Evoland 2 ($6.79, 66% off), also on sale which we reviewed when it released giving it an 8.5.

The Only Downside to The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky is this: if you like it, you'll be spending about eight thousand hours playing the other games in the franchise.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky ($9.99, 50% off) is the first part of a trilogy in the massive The Legend of Heroes franchise (which itself is a sub-franchise of the Dragon Slayer series). A strange and powerful technology called "orbal energy" has rapidly advanced society but it has also given rise to terrible weapons of war. Grab your party and explore the land in a game that is part of Nihon Falcon's most successful franchise. This classic RPG is beloved by many (including a writer or two here) and delivers a classic JRPG experience with all the fixin's. If this kind of game is your bag, you might also want to check out The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky The 3rd ($22.49, 25% off - Our Review) and The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel ($27.99, 30% off), also on sale.

Moonlighter ($17.99, 10% off - Our Review) is an action RPG with roguelike elements. If you enjoyed Recettear, you might find something to like in Moonlighter. Take on the role of an adventurous shopkeeper who likes to head out into danger personally and bring home loot to sell. Help other villagers expand their businesses in town as you unravel the many mysteries of the world's interdimensional gates. Bear in mind that this game is currently not on sale as part of the Steam Summer Sale, so grab it at a discount now while you can!

Finally, Steamworld Dig ($2.99, 70% off - Our Review) is a world filled with steam-powered robots where you head ever deeper underground in search of fantastic treasure in Metroidvania-style gameplay. Discover the remanents of human civilization in this game that mashes up Steampunk and Western themes. Uncover fabulous gems, avoid creepy crawlies, and watch out for traps!

This is a just a selection of titles available at great discounts during the Humble DRM-Freedom Sale. Be sure to swing on by the Humble Store and see what else is up for grabs!
