Have you ever wanted to collect ancient artifacts with wondrous properties? Well then, as one of a few multimillionaires from around the world, you have the opportunity to bid on artifacts from the United States' artifact storage facility: Warehouse 51! With items such as Aladdin's Lamp, Thor's Hammer, and more, you'll be bidding against a few other multimillionaires as you seek to grow your collection! We met up with Norman Hunter from Passport Games at Gen Con 2015 to learn more about Warehouse 51.

Interview with Norman Hunter - Warehouse 51

Warehouse 51 plays with 3-5 people and takes about 30-45 minutes to play, with the winner being the person who collects the most artifacts without falling prey to the many perils that such items can have. Players must beware too of fake artifacts because no one wants to own an artifact that is a forgery, right?

Myself and Travis Williams played a few rounds with Norman to get a feel for how the game plays, as well as what players can expect from a typical game. First impressions point towards the game being great for players of all kinds due to the simplicity of the rules, as well as the myriad strategies that players can employ against their fellow players.

The game is pretty fast-paced and has some nuances that keep every auction interesting, especially as you gather more artifacts with abilities that can change each exchange. This is going to really give players a different game each time they play Warehouse 51, especially with the ability to play with between three and five players.

If you're interested in getting more details about Warehouse 51, you can check out Passport's Website or BoardGameGeek, as well as find it online and at your local game shops for around $25! Stay tuned for more GenCon 2015 coverage, as well as our review of Warehouse 51!
