During Gearbox's press conference to open 2019's PAX East, the publishing arm announced that Bulletstorm would be coming to Switch as Bullestorm: Duke of Switch Edition. This release of Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition comes with all previous packaged DLC, including the Duke Nukem voice pack. People Can Fly is joined by Ukranian studio Dragon's Lake for their work on porting Bulletstorm to the Switch. There's no word on a price or release date yet, but is slated to come over sometime this summer.

Set in the far-flung future, in Bulletstorm, you play as former solder Grayson Hunt. On the run from his former command, Hunt has access to dozens of futuristic weapons and an energy leash, which he can pull soldiers or environment pieces towards him. Hunt's talents as a soldier have served him well, as the more creatively he kills his opponents, the better score (and more currency) he earns via the "Skillshot" system. He can kick, punch, slide, and otherwise main his enemies in as many ways as you can dream up. Earned currency can be spent to unlock more weapons, ammunition, and other various upgrades.

The first original IP from Polish studio People Can Fly since 2004's Painkiller, Bulletstorm, upon its original release, was praised for its Skillshot system, as well as the characters and entertaining shooting. We found the Full Clip Edition to be a worthy upgrade to the original Bulletstorm, even though the Duke Nukem pack-in campaign left much to be desired. In the years since Bulletstorm's release, People Can Fly worked with Epic on a number of games, including Gears of War 3 and Fortnite: Save the World. People Can Fly is reportedly at work on a new shooter IP, but there's been no details released yet. Still, with Full Clip Edition now available for all consoles and PCs, you can pick up People Can Fly's goofy shooter on your favorite platform.
