Gen Con - Get your game on Challenge

Do you have what it takes to design your own tabletop game? What about if you were only given one weekend to accomplish this feat?

Gamers from across the country will be storming Indianapolis in just a couple weeks for Gen Con 50. If you're an aspiring game designer, this is your weekend to get noticed.  From August 17 through the 20, the Get Your Game On Challenge will be offering up some sweet opportunities for the best games designed at the show.

The challenge is presented by Game On Tabletop, one of the leading French tabletop crowdfunding platforms. They will be providing free prototype kits that include dice, meeples, blank cards, pencils and more at booth 1037. Your objective is to take these tools to create a quick-rule game that can be played in less than 10 minutes. At the end of the competition, the judges will select the winners who will take home gift vouchers to level-up their prototype development as well as exposure that comes with being one of the champions.

Game On Tabletop will award 3 winners each day of the convention! The top prize will be awarded a $50 voucher while second and third place will take home vouchers of $30 and $20 respectively. These vouchers can be used to purchase additional game components to help transform your winning idea into reality.

Even at events like Gen Con where thousands of people are coming to check out the latest in gaming, new developers can quickly get lost in the fray. If you have what it takes, this may be your chance to stand above the crowd and get your skills noticed.
