Remember Gal*Gun: Double Peace? You know, that on-rails shooter that came out on PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4 recently, that PQube published in the west? The one with the hilarious ESRB misprint, that got pulled from EB Games in Australia? PQube Games just announced that the title will be coming to Steam later this month - in 2 weeks, to be exact! The company pushed a trailer to Youtube earlier today. Details such as what Operating Systems it will come to, what the game will cost at launch, and what control schemes it will support are still unknown - all we know is that the game is coming to Steam, and it's coming soon. Gal*Gun: Double Peace is slated to hit Steam on September 27th!

We've already covered Gal*Gun: Double Peace at length when it released on consoles: I gave my first impressions of the PlayStation Vita version, while we also pushed a review of the PlayStation 4 release. If for some reason you aren't already familiar with the title - Gal*Gun: Double Peace is an on-rails shooter/VN where the main character (who has been pumped full of pheromones) must bat off all the girls that want to confess to him, while searching for his true love so he won't end up alone, never finding love. Also, it has a $90 DLC that allows you to see through the girl's clothes. That's a thing.

At any rate, the title is coming to Steam in some form, later this month. We'll be sure to keep you updated with more information and impressions on the port when we learn more.

Quick Take

Today's announcement came almost entirely out of left field - especially considering how close the announcement is to the games launch on the platform! Like I said in the article, we don't know anything else about the port besides the fact that it's coming to Steam in 2 weeks. Hopefully either company (PQube Games or Inti Creates) can shed some light on the port very soon.
