Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky - $9.99
From the creators of Ys, Trails in the Sky is the incarnation of Legend of Heroes that reworked a franchise. Released in Japan in 2006, it only received an English language translation in 2014 but it was well-worth the wait. If you’re looking for a fun RPG with a deep storyline, memorable characters and solid gameplay mechanics, look no further and give Trails in the Sky a whirl.
Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 and 2 - $1.49 and $2.49
Proof that good old gaming never goes out of style, Chris Sawyer’s genre-defining Tycoon simulator franchise is still going strong. If you’ve always wanted to run your own theme park, now’s your chance to try it without soul-crushing debt. Both games also include all expansion packs and soundtracks.
The Witcher Franchise – From $1.49 – $23.99
Based on the popular book series by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski, The Witcher franchise has had a devoted following since the first game released in 2007. The latest addition to the series, The Witcher 3, also has several DLC packs up for purchase and the title received a 10/10 here on TechRaptor.
Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena - $2.99
Taking place in Riddick’s backstory before the movies, Assault on Dark Athena is a dark sci-fi action game. Playing as anti-hero Riddick, you escape from the galaxy’s deadliest prison, Butcher Bay. An intense game, this one is not for the faint of heart.
Pillars of Eternity – From $17.99 – $35.99
If you’re looking to pick up 2015’s RPG hit before the recently announced sequel comes out, you’re in luck. From the creators of Fallout, Pillars of Eternity is on sale in three flavors: Hero, Champion and Royal editions. While each includes the base game, the Champion and Royal editions have a number of goodies packaged with them, including wallpapers, a digital game almanac and an exclusive novella.
