If you hated the sensation of being turned into a pile of ashes by something that couldn’t miss and couldn’t be countered in Fortnite Battle Royale, then you’re in luck. As a part of Fortnite Battle Royale’s v3.5.2 update (scheduled for release sometime this week), the Guided Missile will be moved to the game’s vault, an area where problematic or under-performing weapons are quarantined away until Epic Games can figure out what to do with them. While this does mean that the Guided Missile is, for all intents and purposes, removed from the game, at least for now although it may return at some point in the future.

In addition, the v3.5.2 update will address a bug introduced in the v3.5 update which could cause your own bullets to hit whatever you were hiding behind. As a result of this bug, peeking around corners could cause you to destroy your own cover, or simply miss a shot that would’ve resulted in a kill. The v3.5.2 update will roll back a change made in the v3.5 update that could cause this bug to occur until a more permanent solution can be reached.

You may have also noticed that your character felt sluggish while equipping different weapons. While this was an intended change made in a previous Fortnite Battle Royale update to prevent people from quickly switching weapons to bypass a weapon’s low rates of fire, it had a disproportionate effect on other weapons. As a result, Sniper Rifles and Crossbows will not feature this weapon equip delay any longer. Predictably, more powerful (and thus, slow firing) weapons like the Revolver, Shotguns, Hand Cannons, and Rocket Launchers will retain this delay.

Some of these aforementioned tweaks, especially in regards to weapon changes, have already made their way into Fortnite Battle Royale via a hotfix. The rest will come in a later update that you will have to download.
