French game publishing studio Focus Home Interactive has reported a hugely successful twelve months, having brought in €126 million in revenue since the beginning of the financial year. The company has claimed that a big part of the success is due to the popularity of games such as Vampyr and Farming Simulator 2019, the latter of which sold a record-breaking 1 million copies in only 10 days. Credit was also given to the MudRunner series which accounted to a large chunk of the generated revenue, helped along by a successful back-catalog which helped to generate another slice of revenue for the publishers.

The publisher has also started off the 2019-2020 financial year very solidly with the successful release of World War Z a third-person co-op shooter based on the movie of the same name from 2013. World War Z has itself pulled in over 1 million in sales since it was first released. There is also a great deal of anticipation for the upcoming A Plague Tale: Innocent by Asobo which is to be releasing next month, and which is sure to go on to bolster the success streak even further. The end of the year will also see the release of The Surge 2 from Deck 13, a hardcore action RPG in a similar vein to the Dark Souls series.

In light of their success, Focus Home Interactive have announced their plans to renew partnerships with some of their key collaborators including DONTNOD, Deck 13, Asobo and SABER Interactive. They also announced 2 new agreements made with Games Workshop and Chaosium to produce 3 new titles based on the Warhammer universe, and an exclusive deal to produce games based on Call of Cthulhu for the next 10 years.
