Developer Scott Cawthon, creator of the hit Five Nights at Freddy's series, has pulled his latest game, FNaF World, from Steam. Cawthon has made this decision because he felt that the game was rushed and he also wasn't satisfied with the reviews and ratings that the game was receiving.
In his post on Steam Cawthon continued to explain what his plan is for the game:
I'm still going to work on FNaF World and polish it up. I'm busy creating a fully 3D overworld for the game. When I'm ready to update the game, I will replace the demo currently on GameJolt with the full game. From this point forward, the game will always be free.
For those who might have already purchased the game and feel like you have wasted your money now that Cawthon has pulled the game you don't need to worry. Cawthorn has asked Valve to allow anyone who has purchased FNaF World to get a refund regardless of how much time they have spent in the game. not only that but Cawthon says "[He] encourages you all to refund your Steam game (even if you enjoyed the game), and download the new version when it becomes available on GameJolt."

Quick Take
It's a strange thing to see a developer do. Cawthon has had an incredible track record of pumping out impressive games one after another and it was a shame to see the released state of FNaF World. The idea of asking people to refund his game and his plan to release it completely free of charge is quite unexpected too. It was a bold move to jump genre from horror to RPG and I hope that during his continued development of FNaF World he manages to find what he missed.
