Its been about six months, so that means it's time for another Five Nights at Freddy's game! Yes, the series is going to continue with Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery, an augmented reality game for your phones.

Coming to both iOS and Android devices, Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery will be a horror game that takes advantage of the augmented reality features many phone games love to use. So how will Special Delivery use it? Well, it seems that's a bit of a mystery for now. Not many details have actually been announced on the game, or on how it will play. The only real comment about it is that it will "evolve beyond the traditional AR-optional geolocation gameplay and deliver a more meaningful AR experience by having AR as the core component of the game." If this means it will play something like a horror version of Pokémon Go is unclear, but sure does seem interesting.

Special Delivery is being developed by Illumix, a relatively new studio specifically created to make AR games. They received quite a bit of funding, and Special Delivery will be their first big project. However, the Five Nights at Freddy's series has seen quite a few entries, including Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted which came out earlier this year. In addition to this, creator Scott Cawthon has mentioned that he's working on several other projects. This includes a movie based on the franchise, console ports for all the original games, a pair of games by developer Steel Wool Studios, and even a deal with Universal to make a AAA multiplayer game.

Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery will be coming to mobile devices "soon". You can pre-register to join in over at their website.
