Update: Looks like the $19.99 price point for the Royal Edition upgrade was a mistake. The final price point is undetermined.

Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition has been announced for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, as well as a release date for Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition, which is coming to Steam, Origin, and Windows 10 store. Both versions will release on March 6th and will feature the base game, over 20 "game add-ons", and new features such as an Expanded Map: Insomnia City Ruins, along with new enemies, side quests, and a first-person "camera mode".

As noted in the second trailer, Expanded Map: Insomnia City Ruins includes new side quests and enemies, such as the Cerberus and Omega, as well as the Rulers of Yore. A Royal Vessal boat will allow players to explore the area between Cape Caern and Altissia, and players can also fish and discover new fishes and dishes aboard the Vessal.

All of the Season Pass is included, as well as more than a dozen pieces of downloadable content. When fighting, players can activate a new action called "Armiger Unleashed", which will let players unleash powerful attacks whenever the Armiger is summoned. A first-person mode allows the player to play from Noctis' perspective, and the player can now go review "Cosmogony" stories that are scattered through the game world, allowing the player to learn more about the world.

For those interested in Windows specifications, they are included below:
