Square Enix has partnered with Cup Noodles company Nissin for a unique Final Fantasy 30th anniversary promotion. The partnership includes special edition Cup Noodles products, giant forks, and some Final Fantasy XV DLC. The special instant noodles will become available in March and the DLC is expected over the summer.

Called the Final Fantasy Boss Collection, Nissin is releasing a set of 15 special edition Cup Noodle products. Each cup of noodles will feature a different villain from Final Fantasy history. The featured bosses will span all 15 of the main Final Fantasy games.

To get your hands on the Final Fantasy Boss Collection it will cost 6,084 Yen or about $53 USD, while supplies last. The collection of noodles is available to pre-order now and is expected to ship on March 09, 2017. Purchases are limited to 5 sets per person. Those that purchase the unique food items will get more than just a set of 15 fancy Cup Noodles though.

Final Fantasy X Boss Collection Cup Noodles

The Nissin/Square Enix 30th anniversary collaboration uses the tagline “Hunger is the ultimate enemy.” and seeks to help a handful of fortunate Final Fantasy fans slay their ravenousness with a giant fork weapon. Part of the celebration is a special prize giveaway. Via a lottery-style drawing, 30 fans will win an Ultima Weapon Fork. The physical weapon/eating utensil measures 60 centimeters and features an elaborate hilt.

Those that purchase the Final Fantasy Boss Collection will also get access to some Cup Noodle themed Final Fantasy XV DLC. The DLC includes the Cup Noodle Headgear equipment, a giant Cup Noodles container designed to fit Noctis’ head like a helmet. The whimsical gear will be available for Boss Collection owners in the summer of 2017. The DLC may also be available to others sometime after it’s initial release. It’s unclear whether the DLC will be available in all regions.
