The Final Fantasy 14 Tokyo Game Show presentation was pretty good if you happened to tune in. If you haven't, we've got the details on what you can expect to see coming up in the near future for Square Enix's MMORPG!

Yohra: Dark Apocalypse Details from the Final Fantasy 14 Tokyo Game Show Presentation

Let's start with the cool crossover stuff: the game is going to be showing off a new area inspired by NieR: Automata and it looks pretty darn cool.

As Polygon reports, the first part of the game's next 24-man raid is going to be called The Copied Factory. It certainly looks very much like a factory with catwalks and guardrails strewn about, and it will have appropriate tunes to go with it, too — NieR: Automata Composer Keiichi Okabe has provided the soundtrack for this raid.

That's not all that's coming in the next patch, though!

Final Fantasy 14 Patch 5.1 is Coming

Blue mages are getting a bit of a buff. The job level cap is being bumped up to 60 and new spells are coming along with it.

When Final Fantasy 14 New Game Plus launches, it will only cover the content of HeavenswordStormblood, and Shadowbringers at launch; the devs are still working on the massive amount of content in A Realm Reborn and will release that bit later.

Crafting and gathering are also getting an overhaul, the first steps of which will be taking place in Patch 5.1. The UI is going to get an overhaul, and other actions will be streamlined or outright removed. Quick Synthesis and Desynthesis are going to be updated in an unspecified fashion. Gatherers will find that Sneak is replacing stealth; this new ability will let them walk past enemies without aggroing them.

Players can also expect a new ultimate, a third raid in the Ultimate tier, new custom deliveries for Kai-Shirr, and big adjustments to Summoner, Samurai, and Ninja. Bicolor gemstones are also going to have their cap doubled from 500 to 1,000.

You can watch the full Final Fantasy 14 Tokyo Game Show 2019 conference here, although you probably won't understand much if you don't speak Japanese. You will get to see some neat pictures and hear the NieR: Automata music, though!
