The people behind the game also claim the game has a "simple color-matching mechanic" which allows the game to blend a "vivid art style" with "clever art design and a touching narrative" to create a both refreshing and colorful adventure.

The Main Character, Hue
The main character, with a name the same as the game (I'm a poet and I know it) is out on a quest to solve his mother's disappearance. While the main character can only see the world in monochrome, he begins to see color once he pieces together his mother's discarded research which gives him the ability to both see color and change it to "alter reality." With his new powers, Hue is able to "shift between [background] shades, form rifts, and slip obstacles between pigmented dimensions."

The further one progresses, Hue's powers begin to magnify. He will be able to "manipulate objects, unlock new areas and interact with new aspects of the environment", all by changing the colors of the world. Along the way, Hue will meet a variety of characters in a world filled with inventive puzzles. All through the world, players will be able to listen to over 30 original music tracks, all composed exclusively for Hue.

Additional Features
Hue also features support for a multitude of color changing LED devices, such as Razer and Chroma RGB devices, and offers a "fullblown colorblind mode by utilizing unique symbols as a color aid." On top of that, the game also features Anna Acton and Matthew Wade as voice actors.
Launch Date
The game is headed to PS4, PS Vita, Xbox One and PC for $12.99 / €12.99 / £9.99 on August 23rd.
