The appropriately named NexusMods user “Trainwiz” created a mod which brings Thomas the Tank Engine into the Fallout 4 universe.

“Why has nobody put Thomas the Tank Engine in Fallout 4 yet. I mean, he clearly fits in every possible way!” — Trainwiz

The mod replaces a number of in-game items and enemies as Thomas. All deathclaws in the game will now appear as the titular train, vertibirds will now appear as the blue train flying through the sky as well. Mininukes and MIRV launchers also become, you guessed it, Thomas the Tank Engine. One of the game’s flight helmets will also turn into Thomas the Tank Engine, though the creator did not mention which to be a “surprise.” In addition, all sounds will be replaced by an echoing whistle.

This isn’t the first notably horrific mod Trainwiz has created. In August 2013, a similar mod for Skyrim released that replaced the dragons with Thomas and replaced dragon fireballs raining from the sky with falling trains. In November 2015, the modder release “Atom Bomb Baby,” a mod which replaced mininukes in Fallout 4 with the model of your infant son Shaun. Or if you’re looking for a challenge, the mod “Cazadorecursion” will put you (and your hardware) to the test. Every time you kill a Cazadore, the game’s infamously murderous bugs, two more will take it’s place until either you die or your PC crashes.

Cazadorecursion

If your roommate happens to leave their PC open, and you think you can pull it off, this might be your chance at the best prank ever. I can not imagine the horror of an unexpected visit from Thomas roaring his whistle as he attacks for a person who wasn’t aware it was coming.

Will you be introducing the Commonwealth to the terror that is Thomas the Tank Engine? What mods have you included in the game so far? Let us know in the comments below!
