Extra Life’s New York City Guild will be hosting a 6 hour Gaming Mini-Marathon on Saturday, November 7th at Microsoft’s Flagship Store in New York City. This Saturday is Extra Life Game Day 2015 where teams of people all over the world will be coming together to help children’s hospitals get much needed funding.

Tickets to the event will cost $10, although people who have raised at least $50 for Extra Life will be able to attend the event for free. A ticket will include entry to the event, snacks, a raffle ticket for giveaways, and more. 100% of the proceeds raised by the Extra Life New York City Guild will be going to Cohen Children’s Medical Center in New York.

The Mini Marathon will last from 1:00PM Eastern Time until 7:00 PM Eastern Time. Minecraft, Halo 5, and Rock Band 4 will be among the titles available for attendees to play. There will also be tabletop and card games available for fans of those styles of gaming.

If you’re interested in the event but unable to attend, there will also be a concurrent livestream at twitch.tv/extralifenyc. Donations can be made at Extra Life NYC’s Team Page.

Raffle prizes will include a Fugoo Bluetooth Wireless Speaker and a G-Tech 1TB G-Drive ev ATC at the live event. Online viewers can potentially win a copy of Portal 2, Orcs Must Die 2: Complete Pack, and other games.

Extra Life was formed in 2008 by Jeromy “Doc” Adams in memory of Victoria Jo Enmon who lost her battle to Leukemia at the age of 15. Extra Life has raised over $14 million for children’s hospitals since its founding.
