The final day of ESA 2015 begins now, following up a week of entertainment from the world's largest European speedrunning event. The final day, July 5th, isn't just about speedruns, it's also about ESA's Smash tournament, as well as a mystery tournament. As of now ESA has raised $21,830.98 for Médecins Sans Frontières, also known as Doctors Without Borders.

Players filled the past few days with awesome runs, like Zombies Ate My Neighbors (35:34) by lurk, Beetle Adventure Racing! (31:52) by andypanther, Super Mario World (1:26:27) by Akisto, Shenmue II (2:13:30) by SeductiveSpatula, Dragon's Crown (35:09) by Flicky and Bangerra, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (4:16:43) by Demon9, Silent Hill 3 (55:35) by Tdawg91, Jet Set Radio Future (2:49:43) by Rueake, and a list that just goes on and on. It's been an amazing week, and at least one writer's sleep has happily suffered by watching it. Now, all that remains is one day. Let's look forward and see what to expect.

Purple Stream: Starting off is New Super Mario Bros Wii by Ongnissim, followed by Mario Kart 64 by Flippy_o. Ratchet & Clank 2: Locked and Loaded is run next by etholon, with Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus afterward by xxMergyxx. Jak 3 has a co-op run by Raccoon_1337 and ThaRixer, followed by a The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Any% run by Jodenstone. Last but not least, Super Mario Sunshine by Stelzig.

Yellow Stream: Timesplitters 2 starts off being run by JangBang. Afterward is a Smash tournament organized by Irregularjinny, and a mystery tournament organized by RoboSparkle. After the day 7 recap, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is run "2 Player 1 Controller, All Dungeons" by thiefbug and SlaskPrask.

After all this is over, on Monday the bonus stream starts with unscheduled shenanigans. For specific times that these events will occur, keep an eye on the official schedule on the ESA website. To see all the runs that have already happened, check out the ESA VoDs thread over on /r/Speedrun, curated by LasTLiE2.

While ESA is ending, speedrunning never stops. Be sure to follow the runners mentioned here (and any others you find interesting), and check out more upcoming marathons such as Speed Stuff 4 Charity starting July 10th. If you know of any other marathons, would like to discuss the runs at ESA, or have suggestions for what we can do better, let us know in the comments.
