PlayStation Now continues to be an option for people who missed out on the PlayStation 3 to get another shot at those greats. For a monthly fee users can stream a large amount of PlayStation 3 games. Starting today European users have 22 new games to pick from.
The list of games varies wildly ranging from spin-offs to indies, AAA games to whatever the hell .detuned is. The full list is as follows:
- Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
- Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception
- Ratchet & Clank All 4 One
- Eat Them!
- Go! Puzzle
- Pixeljunk Racers 2nd Lap
- Armageddon Riders
- Big Sky: Infinity
- Invizimals: The Lost Kingdom
- Savage Moon
- God of War: Ghost of Sparta HD
- God of War: Chains of Olympus HD
- Anarchy: Rush Hour
- Ricochet HD
So what’s actually worth playing here? Well if you’ve somehow missed the Uncharted trilogy… then this isn’t quite the best way to play that and I instead recommend grabbing the PlayStation 4 Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection instead. Yet if you absolutely can’t do that for some reason, or just want a reason to use the PlayStation Now subscription you’re already paying for, then they’re totally a must play. I also found the two God of War spin-off games to be almost just as good as, if not better than, the main entries. The three games that were made by developer Thatgamecompany, these being Flow, Flower, and Journey, are among some of the best indie games available on the platform. Finally, I actually hold a soft spot for Savage Moon, which was Sony’s rather forgotten attempt to push into the tower defense genre.
Live in America? Don’t fret as you’re getting some games too: Telltale recently added 10 games to the service.
