Euro Truck Simulator 2 - Vive la France 1920x1080

The Vive la France DLC for truck-driving simulator Euro Truck Simulator 2 will be releasing worldwide on December 5, 2016 according to a press release.

Vive la France adds a scaled-down version of France to the game. The game's interpretation of the country will include 20,000km of new roads with 15 cities for the player to visit while they're hauling their cargo across Europe. Iconic French landmarks and scenery will be present, and new companies will be introduced so the player has some more opportunities for earning money. A trailer for the DLC has accompanied the press release:

Additionally, new industries (and consequently, new cargo) will be added to give players a bit more variety in their 18-wheeled treks across European roads. Of special note is nuclear power plants, a particular industry that France is well known for; they produce approximately 75% of their power needs from their 58 nuclear reactors and the country is the largest net exporter of electricity in the world.

In addition to new industries and new cargoes to haul, vegetation and forest density are going to be improved. (It's not exactly clear if this will only apply to the newer areas of France added to the game or if it will be an overhaul for the entire game.) Other new details will include their country-specific tollgate system and rural villages will be making an appearance.

The Vive La France DLC will cost $18.99/€17.99/£13.49, although SCS Software is careful to state that there are certain platforms (such as Amazon) where they aren't necessarily able to control the price and so there may be some variation therein. You'll be able to pick up the DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2 on Steam or via the game's official website once it's released.
