Eternity: The Last Unicorn is a game "steeped" in Norse mythology, focusing on the "struggles" with immortality. Originally, there were four unicorns, all given by a god in order to give Elves immortality. Now, three are dead, with the last unicorn living a cursed existence. Players will play as Aurehen of Alifheim, who has been given the task of saving the immortality of her fellow elves before it is gone forever. To do so, she has to lift the curse on the last living unicorn. Players will also be joined by Bior, a Viking who is searching for his missing troops as both explore Vanaheim, which was inspired by Nordic folklore.

Eternity: The Last Unicorn will offer players "deep" skill and progression as they traverse the land of Alfheim. Players will meet creatures such as Jotun, Fenrir, and Gullveig over the course of a campaign that will last over 12 hours.

Eternity: The Last Unicorn will be released on PC and the PS4 for $19.99, with an Xbox One release coming later this year.

Quick Take:

I'm the last person to complain about a company making a game focused on traditional folklore/fables, but this looks like a mid-360 era title. I mean, was this really the best they could do graphically? At least it's $20, but wow, this is honestly the worst looking 3D title I've seen in a long time that isn't an asset flip. Even if this game was great, the graphics are so bad that it's going to be a huge turn-off for a lot of people. Regardless, hopefully it's a good game, because the story looks somewhat interesting. We'll see.
