Electronic Arts, which we all expect to just show sports games, had a pretty great showing this year at E3.

With a wide variety of games, from Peggle 2 to Titanfall, EA had a strong presentation at this year's E3. That holds true even with the technical glitches it experienced on-stage, and the awkwardness of the first announcer, which was pretty funny.

Let's delve into the recap of what we were shown at the Electronic Arts E3 2013 presentation.

Electronic Arts Games Showing

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare

Introducing a 3D, third person shooter/tower defense game in the style of Plants vs. Zombies. Garden Warfare is a 3rd person game where you take on the role of one of the plants, and can play as the various plants as well as place turrets, shoot enemies, heal allies and more! Play with friends and complete each level as you make your move on the zombies!

Peggle 2

That's right! Peggle is back!

Titanfall

We already saw Titanfall at the Microsoft E3 presentation. Electronic Arts added on that the game is designed for lots of different player types.

Frostbite 3/Ignite Engines

We got to see a lot of new things at E3, but the all new Frostbite 3 and Ignite engines are incredibly exciting due to the whole new level of games that they will help to create. Frostbite will be the engine behind Battlefield 4, Need for Speed RivalsDragon Age: Inquisition, the new Star Wars Battlefront, and Mirror's Edge 2.

The Ignite engine will power a whole new breed of next-gen sports games, allowing for more realism and control.

Star Wars Battlefront

After 8 years...IT'S BACK! The game that we've all been waiting for, through developers closing their doors and licensing rights changing hands, has been announced.

No details or gameplay for the game have been announced, but it is likely that development only began when Disney gave full rights to the Star Wars game franchise to EA.

Need for Speed Rivals

Being developed by Ghost Games, Need for Speed Rivals is another cops vs. racers game. The beauty of the game is that you can be either online or offline, but "All Drive" makes it an integrated experience, allowing you and your friends to run into and help each other.

The race can start in single player, but end in multiplayer. Your friends can even help you with Smartglass and call in a chopper!

Dragon Age: Inquisition

The all new title in the acclaimed Dragon Age series is upon us. This time, however, the game is an open world RPG set to launch in the fall of 2014!

NBA Live 2014

EA has promised that NBA Live 2014 will be more realistic than ever. Dribbling has been the main focus of improvements, and EA even brought Kyrie Irving in to speak about why dribbling is so important to being an effective basketball player (and it really is).

A whole new technology, known as "bouncetech", has been developed to focus on making dribbling better.

Madden 25

Just like every other year, we get an all new Madden. Most years, this is expected to just be a roster upgrade. This year, EA announced the all new "True Step" feature, which will give players more realistic control and feel for their player. "Playersense" has also been introduced, allowing players to react faster during play.

FIFA 14

FIFA wasn't shown off much more than have Drake (the singer and rapper) come out and introduce it. FIFA is a pretty great game every year, however, so it doesn't need much of an introduction.

UFC

Bruce Buffer came out and introduced the game in true UFC fashion, with Jon Jones and Benson Henderson, as well as UFC founder Dana White, also appearing to introduce the next generation of UFC game.

The goal for this UFC game is to be as realistic as possible, with this iteration allowing fighters to change their strategy mid-fight, which is an advantage that Jones and Henderson explained. Overall, the game looks to be a solid one if you enjoy UFC and fighting.

Battlefield 4

Battlefield 4 looks to be phenomenal, which can always be expected of developer DICE.

Using a 64-player live demo, Battlefield 4 was shown off with a live gameplay demonstration. Using Smartglass, you will be able to interact with the game while playing massive battles against other players. If you happen to be the commander of your unit, you can even use Smartglass to send a tactical strike, as EA demonstrated.

Buildings can be destroyed like in previous games, and you can parachute down to the ground. Overall, this game looks incredibly promising.

Mirror's Edge 2

Last but not least, comes Mirror's Edge 2. Yes, it's back! With even better graphics to enhance Mirror's Edge's signature parkour gameplay, it's time to step back into Faith's shoes.
