Closed beta testing for Tequila Games upcoming mobile CCG, Earthcore: Shattered Elements is now open for registration. The game is a digital collectible card game which combines strategy, crafting and story for a unique experience. The closed beta will give 100 players a chance to try out the game and give the developers valuable feedback.
Earthcore: Shattered Elements uses a simple Rock, Paper, Scissors mechanic at it’s core. Strategy also revolves around effectively using the skills from the three Elemental armies of Fire, Water and Earth while battling. There is also an increased risk value for cards with more power adding an element of chance to the gameplay.
This CCG has an interesting Card Crafting feature. Players can fuse cards abilities together to create new, powerful cards and allowing players to build a more personalized collection of cards. There are over 500,000 possible card combinations using Card Crafting.
The game will have a detail-rich, story-driven single player campaign as well as multiplayer. Multiplayer gameplay will include Elo ranked player vs. player duels. Leagues and championships will add more competitive play to the game as well.
“We’re currently working with some very experienced tabletop game design experts to innovate the CCG genre and we’ve invested heavily in the single player story-driven campaign which is often neglected in games of this type. We’re sure that both new and experienced players alike will find Earthcore:Shattered Elements very different to anything that they’ve played before.”, said Lukas Deszczulka, CEO, Tequila Games.
Beta testing is now open for registration to players with Apple devices with iOS 7 or an iPad 3 or newer. The game will be released in 2015 on iOS with new content for the game promised to be updated regularly after it’s release. More details about Earthcore will be released soon. Now 100 mobile gamers will get to try out the game and help Polish indie developers Tequila Games get it ready for it’s release.
