We had one more announcement for The Sims 4 to close out EA Play 2019. The Sims 4: Realm of Magic is going to be the next game pack for the latest entry in the long-running The Sims franchise.

The Sims 4: Realm of Magic is... well, it's really all of the information that we have. We didn't even get a preview of the logo! Presumably, this new game pack is going to involve magic in some fashion, a theme that has been explored in great detail with expansions and game packs in previous entries of the franchise. Unfortunately, we didn't get much more in the way of details beyond that.

The announcement of The Sims 4: Realm of Magic as the next game pack comes on the heels of the reveal of content in The Sims 4: Island Living. While Realm of Magic is going to presumably have some kind of otherworldly focus, Island Living still manages to get a little magical on its own. Players will be able to enjoy a mysterious new island location which includes a vibrant tribal culture and finally introduces mermaids to this latest game in the life simulation franchise.

You'll be able to get your hands on The Sims 4: Realm of Magic when it releases later in Fall 2019. No price or other details have been announced just yet, but we can probably expect it to cost roughly the same as the other game packs we've seen so far. You can look forward to hearing more about the newest game pack in the coming weeks. In the meantime, you can pre-order Island Living right now!

What do you think about The Sims 4: Realm of Magic? How do you think they will execute this particular theme in a modern setting? Let us know in the comments below! If you want to know more about this and other announcements happening at E3 then be sure to check out our E3 2019 Coverage Hub.
