The first details of Battlefield V Chapter 5 were revealed at EA Play 2019. While Chapter 4 is going to continue its focus on Europe, the fifth chapter of the latest Battlefield game will be sending players to the Pacific front of one of history's greatest conflicts. Of course, the move to the Pacific means that we will also be seeing the introduction of two new factions. That's right: the United States and Japan are finally entering the fray in Battlefield V.

New amphibious units and a greater arsenal of weapons will be made available for players in Battlefield V Chapter V. In total, at least seven new weapons and gadgets will be deployed to the game in Battlefield V Chapter 5 before 2020. Presumably, at least some (if not all) of these gadgets are going to be weapons and equipment that were used by America and Japan, the new factions joining the game in Chapter 5.

This part of the war had a heavy focus on jumping between islands, so players can expect to see more watercraft as compared to the current set of maps in the game. I imagine that at least some of the maps for Battlefield V Chapter 5 are going to include the various bunkers that the Japanese hid into the jungle when they dug in to hold off the American counter-attack following the Japanese surprise attack at Pearl Harbor.

A roadmap has also been revealed that shows when we can expect to see content for Battlefield V Chapter 5 and the remainder of Chapter 4. It lays out when we can expect to see this new content for EA DICE's premier World War 2 first-person shooter. More details about this chapter will be revealed later in the year. We should be able to get our hands on the new Chapter 5 content for Battlefield V sometime in the Fall of 2019.
