Kicking off EA's E3 2017 press conference is a trailer for the story mode of Madden 2018. In this mode you can start from the bottom and work your way through your career making through the draft to greatness. This mode will be called Longshot.

After the trailer for Long Shot Andrew Wilson, CEO of EA, took to the stage to announce that this might be the most "innovative" Madden title yet. The creation of Longshot is a continuation of the story mode that was implemented in Fifa 2017.
